Pregnancy Post | 32 Week Pregnancy Update...

Today I am 32 weeks + 1 day Pregnant, I cannot believe how fast this week has gone already! We've been busy almost every day which has been nice and we've finished off baby girl's nursery so we're pretty much prepared for her arrival.

How far along? 32 weeks

Gender? Girl

Labour signs? None yet

Belly button in or out? So far its still in but its very close to being an outy.

Stretch marks? So far I'm doing well with no stretch marks on my belly.

Any cravings this week? Still no cravings.

Symptoms: At my 28 week appointment, I was diagnosed with Diastis Rectai (torn abdominal muscles) and was referred to a physio, this week I attended my physio appointment and was also told I had pelvic girdle pain which I had pretty much already figured out. I was asked a series of questions to try and pin point my areas of pain, I was then examined and had to do a few things such as sitting up and lying back down for the physio to be able to asses the extent of damage. Unfortunately the damage is quite easy to see which means I will have a lot of work to do when baby is here and I have been given exercises to do for now too. I also have to wear a support bandage from the bottom of my bump to just below my bra line which is quite tight but acts as my tummy muscles and supports my bump. I have been given two double supports for day time and two single supports to wear when I'm in bed, I will have to wear these all the way up until birth now which is fun! At first I hated wearing these but now I have found they have actually reduced my stomach and back pain by quite a bit and I now actually feel strange if I have a 10 minute break from them.

I have had a few headaches this week which I have been told to keep and eye on and I experienced my first swollen ankle/foot after a bit too much shopping. Emotions are also high with me crying even when I'm happy, sometimes just laughing makes me cry, the funny things pregnancy does to you eh?!

Movement: Babygirl has been quite active again this week which has been so nice! I've noticed that she's more active when I'm out and about, she pushes to the front when I walk and she kicks when I'm laughing and joking, she's definitely more happy when I'm happy! She also loves to move when I rub oil into my bump and if me and Dan are having a singing sesh she'll kick a lot more, not sure if she's happy or telling us to shut up!

Sleep: This week I have still been quite tired but I've managed to keep going while we've been busy so I'm not completely drained, I'm just definitely ready for bed come evening.

Missions?  This week's missions have been finishing baby girl's room and getting the last bits for our hospital bags, everything is pretty much done now so I fell a lot happier!

This week I am greatful for: Dan having time off from work and just enjoying being together, a cheeky little Pizza Hut buffet squeezed in was lovely.

Looking forward to: My baby shower in a couple of weeks time.

This week has been lovely and I have another busy week ahead of me, I've been loving feeling my baby girls' movements and I can't wait for the weeks to come. I hope you enjoyed reading this weeks update and if you too are writing bump updates, please leave your link in the comment below, I would love to read them!
