January Favourites...

Well hello February! You crept up sneakily fast!

So i'm finally back with my monthly favourites posts, it has been way too long and I have actually missed doing these posts, so I though what better month to start it than the first of the year?! With how fast last month went, I'm surprised I had the time to even find any favourites but my January favourites are actually all new finds this time around and I pretty much fell in love with each of them upon first use!

I always love the smell of Hugo Boss scents, be it a perfume my friend has or Dan's latest aftershave but I have never actually owned one myself! When shopping in the January sales, I spotted the Jouer 30ml gift set, which is the one I have been lusting after most recently and for just under £25 in Boots it was hard to walk away, I did try, honestly but I really did need some new perfume, so of course it just slipped into my basket! Now i'm not going to lie, I'm not the best at describing perfumes, which is why I never review them, however i'll give this one a try...This perfume to me is a sophisticated kind of scent, with a floral yet slightly fruity scent, this would be perfect for lunch dates and shopping trips, I have to say i'm already hooked! Ok, so my lunch dates may be spent at home and my shopping trips online but at least I smell good right?!

Boots no longer have the gift set and the 30ml alone is £36.50 however the perfume shop still have some gift sets left for just £24.99 here grab it before it's gone!

With Kylie Jenner setting the nude lip trend off, I too had to jump on the hype with this pairing! Both Brave and Staunchly Stylish are a pink beige with brown undertones, though Staunchly Stylish is the darker of the two by just a smidge. I have never really been a nude lip kinda girl but this has become my everyday go-to combo and I'd love to try some more nudes if anyone has any recommendations? I already have Hue but that's a tad too pale for me.

See my full review on these two here.

Now, I have to admit, when I got this product in January's My Little Box, at first, it was just another face cream and I didn't think much more about it, however after losing my current moisturiser one morning and replacing it with this, I became instantly attached! This moisturiser leaves my skin feeling instantly hydrated and refreshed, the kind that reduces any tightness and I swear it's been helping with my acne too, it doesn't claim to help with spots but since i've been using this, mine have visibly reduced and no longer look so inflamed.

Illamasqua Multi Facet Palette in Aura

This makeup bag in a compact case is perfect for travelling, just add foundation, mascara and lipstick and your good to go. I love the soft colours in this palette which make them all everyday wearable colours, I don't think I've had a day without using at least one item from this palette since it arrived and I can definitely see myself repurchasing a few items from it, especially their best selling brow cake in Thunder, it's too good not to!

See my full review on this palette here.

I've really enjoyed discovering so many new products over the last month, I feel like my product drawers have finally had a little refresh! Have you tried any of these products? if so, what did you think to them?

Love
