Latest in Beauty: The Glamour Beauty Edit

Latest In Beauty - The Glamour Beauty Edit: The Ultimate Party Kit £14.95

Whenever I purchase a one-off beauty box like this, I like to take time to use the products first before I review them, however by the time I get round to doing a post on the box it's usually sold out! So I've given it a little time to get to know the products in this box, but not too much time that it's sold out yet, here's hoping this one was perfect timing...

Latest in Beauty and Glamour magazine have come together to create a one off beauty box, which includes numerous beauty favourites for a fantastic price, and is perfect for the Ultimate night out! or even a Christmas present? The possibilities are endless! However this isn't the first time the two have done this, back in the summer they created an amazing box but unfortunately I never managed to get my hands on it, which is why I knew I had to have this one! All of these products are handpicked by Glamour's very own beauty editor Alessandra Steinherr and I am certainly looking forward to any future boxes they have lined up...

HD Brows Brow and Eye Palette in Foxy (£19.96)

This HD brow palette is worth more than the box alone, so not only are you getting the palette at a cheaper price when you buy this box but your also gaining six extra products too!

Although the colour of the palette is not stated, after reading many reviews I think this is the standard colour  (foxy) that they send out, which is pretty good as it should suit most people. I've wanted this palette for so long! When HD brows made it's debut, who didn't want this? I'm so happy that I finally got my hands on and I really do love this palette because it really makes your eyebrows stand out, and enables you to create great shape and definition, even when they're ready for waxing! I've had so many compliments on eyebrows since I've started using this, that I will definitely repurchase when it eventually runs out! The only problem I have with this, is that I find there is a lot of fall out, even when I've tapped my brush a million times, but this is only a minor blip and one that can easily be fixed.

Maybelline Baby Lips in 003 Mint Fresh (£2.99)

Who doesn't own a babylips lip balm? These have been so hyped up this year, after they were released in the UK and I'll admit I bought one too! However I bought pink punch and was pretty disappointed as I felt the colour looked cheap, and it left my lips looking dry, as the colour seems to stick to any chapped areas. This one, on the other hand, is pretty good, I love that it's mint flavoured and I apply this every morning after applying my moisturiser, before my makeup, so that my lips are smooth by the time I come to apply my lipstick. Maybe I didn't give the other one long enough?!

Eyeko Lash Curlers in Limited Edition Blue Velvet (£12)

You can't go wrong with a good pair of eyelash curlers, especially if like me, you need a little help when it comes to making them look longer! The velvet on the handles makes them comfortable and easy to grip, and the design ensures ease and control when curling your lashes, which means no catching that eyelid! Surely it's not just me? Is it?!

Benefit They're Real Mascara 3.0g (£19.50 for 8.5g)

Ok, so I know you're all probably going to hate me for saying this, but I just don't get the hype around this product? It does make your lashes look longer, yes, but I don't find this adds enough volume at all and they're is far too much fall out from this! However every other blogger, their mother, their auntie, their grandma, you get it, seems to love this mascara, so maybe I'm just too picky?!

Toni & Guy Glamour Firm Hold Hairspray 75ml (£6.39 for 250ml)

This 75ml can is the perfect size to carry in your clutch bag, for those much needed touch ups on a night out. This hairspray smells gorgeous, looks cute and holds your hair in place all night long. I've tried it with both an up-do and loose curls so far and it's held both perfectly for hours! What's not to love?!

Balance Me Extra Care Radiance Face Oil (£15)

This face oil smells amazing! I love the smell of essential oils such as the Roman Chamomile in this oil, as it takes me back to being a massage therapist. They instantly calm and relax me, which makes this perfect for your night time routine. I love that this comes in a small 10ml with a rollerball for easy application, however I made the mistake of rolling it all over my face and neck, I was tired, ok? and ended up pretty much drenched in oil the first time I used it! I now roll this on a small area of each part of my face, e.g each cheek, forehead, nose, chin, neck, and then spread it out whilst massaging in upward circles into my face. I apply this after my cleanser but before my moisturiser in my night time skincare routine to give my skin some radiance come morning.

Philip Kingsley One More Day Dry Shampoo 50ml (£5.95)

I am so so lazy when it comes to washing my hair, shameful but true! If you had hair as long and as thick as mine, you'd understand, I'm sure, so you can see why dry shampoo is my best friend! It gives me an extra hour and a half in bed, yes it takes that long to wash, blowdry and style my hair...at least! and leaves my hair looking clean and fresh when really it's far from it! This dinky little bottle is perfect for my handbag and leaves my hair smelling freshly washed whenever I need it. I'm usually running late in a morning so I'll dry shampoo my hair just before I leave the door, and then grab some hairgrips and grip it into a bun, 1 hour 30 to do my hair versus an extra 1 hour 30 in bed and just 5 minutes to do my hair? You get the Jist! :)

So as you can see this is a pretty amazing box and is such good value! However it is only available whilst stocks last so head on over to www.latestinbeauty.com/glamour right now if you too want one.

Have you bought one of these boxes? What did you think?
