February Glossy Box

Hi girlies!

So I really enjoyed testing all of the products from the January Glossybox, and therefore I decided to continue with my subscription for this month.

I was so excited, waiting with anticipation for the postman to deliver this months box, as I knew it was a limited edition valentines box and should be with me in time to help me prepare for my date.

Unfortunately my box did not arrive before valentines day, which really dissappointed me and really made me question whether or not to continue with this subscription. However on valentines day, I  decided to notify Glossybox that my subscription was late, and was replied to almost immediately, the next day I received my box. I was really impressed with this and would reccommend to anyone else who has a problem to contact them on their website.

So, that aside, I'll get on with reviewing the products :)

In this months Glossybox I recieved:

  • A Micabella Cosmetics eyeshadow in the colour 53 Deep secrets -
This is a dark gold loose mineral eyeshadow, highly pigmented and looks gorgeous dabbed all over the lid, with a subtle higlighter below the brow.

  • Rituals Magic touch Cherry Blossom and Rice Milk Ultra rich, Whipped Body Cream -
This smells absolutely amazing! I have not yet tried the product, as I am still trying to get through all of the potions and lotions I recieved at christmas. However I will be sure to do a review as soon as its made itself comfy in my bathroom.

  • MEMEME Cosmetics Beat The Blues -
This is a pearl pink shimmer higlighter, designed to 'highlight' and 'accentuate' those places 'where the sun would naturally hit'. Personally I don't favour this product, although the packaging looks adorable and i couldnt wait to use this product, I found that the brush was useless, and the product itself looks gorgeous when applying, but once it is rubbed in, doesnt do a great deal other than dissappear. I have only tried it the once, so I will give it the benefit of the doubt and try to work with it, but so far, I think it's safe to say it's not one of my favourite products.

  • Miners Cosmetics Lip Colour in Cinnamon -
This is a pink/brown lipstick, and again, is not one of my favourites this month. The packaging is fairly pretty, and the product smells amazing, but the colour wasn't really suited to my skin tone, and I feel is more for a middle aged lady, rather than myself, which could be why I'm not overly keen, also the product feels cheap and not as smooth as other lipsticks, which is probably down to the fact that I am addicted to Revlons lip butters. Unfortunatly I wont be purchasing this product but I am intrigued to see what else Miners offer and will definitly be checking out their website with my exclusive 15% discount in hand (just incase).

  • Figs and Rouge Rambling Rose Lip Balm -
You need to go check this product out! Honestly this product has to be my favourite this month! Ive seen this product floating around the internet in various reviews, and have considered buying it, but never got round to it. So I was ecstatic to find it in this months glossybox!
First of all the smell is lush! Though it can be a little strong in terms of taste (not sure that its actually flavoured.) Also when you first apply this to your lips, it is slightly gritty, which exfoliates your lips and then smoothes out as you rub this in, which is perfect for the damage this weather does to your lips. And finally this lipbalm is multipurpose and can be used on cuticles, elbows, knees or anywhere you feel needs it, not just your lips! I find this amazing! Being as though I do a lot of nail art, and apply gel polish regularly, my nails are pretty rough and need a little bit of TLC, therefore I have been applying this product to my cuticles and nails daily and within a week, they are feeling much better.

And last but not least, there was a heart shaped lollipop in the box, especially for valentines day, but before I could take a picture, my younger sister had opened it and demolished it, but im sure you can guess what that looks like :)

Overall I think this months glossybox was a mixture of good and bad, but the good outweighed the bad and therefore I look forward to next motnhs box :)
